Maura O’Connor is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Manchester Community College
currently teaching Graphic Design I-IV and Digital Video Editing. After receiving her Master’s
degree in Visual Fine Arts in Intermedia, (1993) she directed, edited and produced programming
for public access radio and television for several years while teaching at MCC since 1994. Working
with advanced digital video students and community non-profit organizations she has produced
award winning public service announcements and promotional pieces. This past year has been
spent creating a documentary movie of Sociology 100: Community Involvement’s class work with
Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans and the rebuilding effort. The movie is on loan through the
